Consists of paragraphic extracts from a draft memoir in half margin; the other half containing brief replies and notes by the Governor-General and Council of India, Batavia, dated 24 July 1678. These extracts are from the same document as the more numerous ones in 40. 4 supra, q.v., but there are some verbal variations and the extracts are differently numbered here. The first extract here given and numbered 6 is numbered 4 in 40. 4, and the last, numbered 68, is there numbered 69.
