Memorie van den Heer Nicolaas Hartingh aan den Heer Willem Hendrik van Ossenberg Raaden Extra Ordinair van Nederlands India Afgaand en Aankomend Gouverneur en Directeur over Java's Noord-Oost Kust Item de besluiten daar op Genomen by Secrete Resolutien van 11 en 16 Maart 1762. p. 3: Mernorie opgesteld voor den wel Edelen Gestrengen Heer Willem Hendrik van Ossenberch Raad Extra ordinair van Nederlands India, en G'eligee'rd Gouverneur en Directeur van Java’s Noord oost Cust, en aan zijn wel Edele overhandigd door den Raad Extra Ordinair van Nederlands India en afgaande Gouverneur en Directeur Nicolaas Hartingh, op deszelfs vertreek naar Batavia. Presumably a copy, though the signature is very peculiar. Another copy is contained in 76. 11 infra. Printed (subject to considerable omissions and some verbal variations) in De Jonge, De Opkomst v. h. Ned. Gezag in Cost-Indië, (1878), X(e) Deel, pp. 330-73. An English translation is contained in 79. 1 infra, q.v.
