pp. i, 1-101: History of Watu Gunu[ng] translated into Dutch from the Javanese.
This is a version of the original of 9. 3 supra, q.v. The translator of the latter has added some notes but he has also abridged and cut out a good deal that is to be found here. On the other hand there is nothing here to correspond with pp. 209-11 of 9. 3.
The colophon attributes the authorship to Kiaij Adij Pattij Soero Adij mengollo [=Kyahi Adipati Sura Adimanggala] and gives the date of composition A. Jav. 1739, as in 9. 3, so the identity of the two is expressly confirmed. See also the rough copy, 72. V infra.
Unfortunately in binding the volume the pages have been wrongly arranged. The true order, according to which it should be rebound, is as follows :- pp. (i), 1-12, 19, 20, 17, 18, 89-92, 85-8, 77-84, 73-76, 69-72, 61-68, 49-60, 45-8, 41-4, 97-100, 93-6, 21-40, 13-16, 101. p. 20 corresponds with p. 1 of 72. V infra and p. 90 of 9. 3 supra.
