Printed in Van der Chijs, Nederlandsch-Indisch Plakaatboek, 1602-1811, (1889), 6(e) Deel, pp. 381-442. This and the following memoir deal with the affairs of the Dutch Company not only in Java but in a number of outstations in many parts of Asia.

5, pp. 287-95: Memorie Inhoudende de Zaaken, met welke alle Reijzigers en Kooplieden, welke. door hunne Zeehandel de ver Eijschte gelegentheijd hebben, verder alle Liefhebberen der natuurkunde en voortkweekers deezer nuttige weetenschap, (bij voorkomende gelegentheijd) mij zoude kunnen verpligten, door het bezorgen van zommige deelen der hier in aangehaalde voortbrengselen der natuur. MS. Copy of a memoir by a collector of natural curiosities appealing for specimens of natural objects, mineral, vegetable and animal, with directions as to the methods to be followed for their preservation. From internal evidence it seems probable that this memoir was intended to be printed, but it has not been traced, and neither author's name nor date appears.
6, pp. 299-343: Batavia, 30 December 1754. MS. Copy of a very elaborate sumptuary law enacted by Resolution of J. Mossel, Governor-General in Council, and partly printed op. cit. (1889), 6(e) Deel, pp. 773-95. The print omits arts. 76-122, which refer to Bengal, the MS. contains them.

8, p. 363: Extract uyt de Generale Resolutien des Casteels Batavia, genomen in Rade van India, op Donderdag, den 13(den) December, Anno 1753. On a matter of account, directing a deduction of 25 per cent. to be made in the books of the Company in respect of payments effected in their light currency, instead of an entry of the full amount and a cross entry showing the profit.
