Loose manuscript document. Copy of the act inaugurating construction of a new hospital, Santa Isabel, in the city of Paraíba on 12 October 1908. Involved in the act were first vice president Monsignor Walfredo Leal; second vice president Francisco Seráfico da Nóbrega; bishop of the diocese, D. Adauto de Miranda Henriques; chief of police and judge, Antonio Ferreira Balthar, and other local authorities. Copied by José Ferreira de Novaes, scrivener of the Irmandade (brotherhood) of Misericórdia.
Extent and format of original material: 1 volume of 4 folios, in addition to folder and front cover. Document in a good state of conservation.
