The book records the correspondence of the Provincial Treasury with the Consulate, Tax Agencies, Fiscal Prosecution and Inspection, in the years 1857 to 1865. It contains: records of request for the fiscal agent of Pernambuco to purchase ten wheat bushels of various qualities, and to also purchase a handbill (sineta) for the Bananeiras prison; Revenues and expenses incurred by the Tax Agency in the Aracaty district; Sending a book to register the province's cotton production; Expenses of National Guard individuals who are employed in the cotton inspection service; transport information of 46 cotton sacs dispatched at the Tax Authority of Macaú to be conducted on the "Cabocla" barge and the dispatch of 18 cotton bags to be conducted on the "Bella Flor" barge; among others.
