Different ethnic groups of Nepal, law and legal practice, the judicial system and police, towns, villages and households of the Kathmandu Valley, the Nepal army, measurement of Nepal's military road connecting the Eastern and Western frontiers, a report on the commerce of Nepal, Nepali paper making. The title description in English reads "Tribes of people, judicial system, trade, army, topography" and the Nepali reads "thar-tharko, adālatko, phaujako vayān." In the Nepali, there is mention of the original box and Item number (2 and 12 respectively). All manuscripts in this volume are copies and most of them have been published. The volume is bound with a leather cover on which Nepali and English title descriptions of the volume have been written by Hodgson.
