Treatise on pharmacology by Najīb al-Dīn Abū Ḥāmid Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī ibn ‘Umar al-Samarqandī (نجيب الدين أبو حامد محمد بن علي بن عمر السمرقندي, d. 1222).
The treatise comprises nineteen chapters (أبواب), and a table of contents is found on f. 5r-v.

الحمد لله رب العالمين والصلوة والسلام على خير خلقه محمد وآله الطاهرين
أجمعين قال الشيخ الإمام البارع الورع نجيب الملة والدين علامة الدهر
محمد بن علي بن عمر السمرقندي تغمّده الله برحمته إن الواجب على كل ذي لبٍ أن يتقرب
إلى الله تعالى ...
