Treatise on pharmacopoeia arranged head to toe by ailment by Najīb al-Dīn Abū Ḥāmid Muḥammad ibn ‘Alī ibn ‘Umar al-Samarqandī (نجيب الدين أبو حامد محمد بن علي بن عمر السمرقندي, d. 1222).
The treatise was copied at Tabriz during the last ten days of Ramaḍān 703/late-April or early-May 1304 by ‘Umar ibn Muḥammad ibn Sallām ibn ‘Abd Allāh al-Irbīlī (عمر بن محمد بن سلام بن عبد الله الإربيلي) (see colophon, f. 192r, lines 6-10, transcribed below).
Begins (f. 124v, lines 2-5):
كتاب القراباذين على ترتيب العلل أدوية علل الرأس حب
الموقايا (؟) لأدواء الرأس من الإمتلأ إيارج فيقرا عشرة دراهم شحم الحنظل
ثلث وثلث سقمونيا درهمين ونصف تربذ واسطوخوذوس من كل واحد خمسة
وهو عشر شربات ...
Ends (ff. 191v, line 20 [ult]-192r, line 4):
... وإن وجد مفصًا في المثانة شرب طبخ العدس ودهن لوز وزبد أو سمن
ماء (؟) يدخل الحمام كل يوم بعد شربه ويجلس حتى ينول في الابزان ويستعمل غذاء مرطبًا
من اسفيذاج بفروج مسمى وشير و[...]ـبدا ويتوقي البرد ويسقي دانقًا من الزراريح
مع دانق من العدس المقشر بماء فاتر وبعد أن ينفع الزراريح في الرائب يومًا وليلة
وبذل الرائب ويفعل ثلث رات فيكون كافيًا والله أعلم بالصواب ...
