Anonymous treatise on craft techniques

Treatise includes instructions for the production of soap (f. 207v), glass (f. 209r), and naphtha (f. 210v). The treatise begins with a discussion of fruit waters, the removal of stains from and dyeing of clothes all of which topics are reminiscent of 'Chapter Fifteen: Using fruit waters and a discussion of clothes' (الباب الخامس عشر في عمل مياه الفواكه وذكر الثياب) of the first treatise in this volume (ff. 56v-58r).
The copy is defective at end and finishes with preparations for verdigris (زنجار, f. 212v), damask rose water (ماء الورد الجوري, f. 215r) and various types of dye (خضاب, ff. 216r-217v) for hair, food and clothes.

صنعة قلع الطبع
إذا أصاب الثوب المراد
يؤخذ الخردل ويدق ويعجن ويلطخ به الموضع فإذا جف يحك فيذهب ويغسل
بالعسل وباللبن الحليب والملح وبدقيق الشعير وبالخل والغاسول

صنعة العنبرية يؤخذ لاذن أوقية أعني نصف أوقية قسط ربع أوقية
لوبان ربع أوقية ميعة سائلة درهمان عود ربع أوقية ظفرة درهم عنبر درهمان
