A fragmentary monologue in iambic trimetres by Heracles during his last moments of life on mount Oeta. He compares his present wretchedness with his glorious past, recounting his deeds: the Nemean lion, Hydra, Antaeus, Alcyones and giants, Erymanthian boar, Thracias mares of Diomedes, Cerberus, Prometheus et al. Adespoton.

Fragmentary sheet from a papyrus roll written on one side along the fibres, containing portion of two columns of 30 lines each; of column 1 the ends of the lines survive, of column 2 only the beginnings. The lower margin survives to 3 cm. Housed in one glass case.

Dimensions: 225 x 135 mm; housed in one glass case measuring 270 x 190 mm.
Script: Upright book-hand, with elongated and narrow letters and oblique serifs. Paragraphoi, marginal marks and corrections by insertion occur.
