These Extracts form the contents of the 29th volume [i.e., 29] of this set of Manuscripts, and a copy of this Index regularly digested is entered at the end of that volume. N.B. By "regularly digested" Orme means "arranged alphabetically."

An account of the Countries dependent on the Fort of Madura, and for how much those Countries were rented in the years 1754, 1755 and 1756, with the number of troops kept up for those years in the country, Copy. The rent (i.e., State Revenue) was barely 1 1/2 lakhs of rupees, and the greatest number of troops was 900 horse and 1100 peons.
