Note of the Contents as follows :- "An Alphabetical Index of all the persons mentioned in Volume 42 [Mss Eur Orme OV.42] of these Manuscripts, whose names are in the letters of Delhi, Decan, Morattoes. All the events relating to them are classed under their names as far as page 94, and clearly open all that is found concerning their stations and situations. From page 92 to the end of the volume I have only made the Index of their names with the pages but without the events: but this second Index serves to carry on what more relates to those Heads by referring to Vol. 42, as they arise in the Index."
