This volume is not entered in volume 246, which seems to imply that the volume was, like 68 above, returned to the owner before 246 was compiled, in other words by Orme himself, as in 158 it is stated that it belonged to Mr. John Call, and that its contents consisted of:-
1. Journal of the Siege of Karical, by Mr. Call, 1706 [1760], A copy of this is given in 60.1.
2. Blockade and Siege of Pondicherry from the 10th Sept. 1760 to the 15th Jan. 1761, by Mr Call. A copy of this is given in 60.2.
3. Journal and account of the 2nd siege of Madura in 1764, by Mr. Call. No copy in the Orme Collection;
4. Account of the negociation with the King of Travencore. No copy in the Orme Collection;
5. Original papers appertaining to the siege of Madura. No copy in the Orme Collection, unless Orme refers to 281 below, which he has endorsed: "Intercepted Papers of Mahomed Issoof Cawn's recd from Mr. Call."
