Papers and correspondence relating to the Fulbright 50th Anniversary Gala for the Fulbright Program's anniversary, held at the Hilton Hotel and sponsored by Bain & Company, with Bill Gates as guest speaker [4 Nov 1996]. Includes: budget papers, expenditure and income, guest lists and seating plans for the event [1995-1996], Committee Meeting Minutes [1996], ephemera from the event including; a leaflet, menu for the dinner, blank invitation with envelope, advertisement order form for the Gala Dinner Brochure, and a copy of the Brochure. Also includes photocopied and original letter and fax correspondence relating to the organisation of the event-correspondence with the sponsor Bain & Company, and the Hilton Hotel, a letter from the US Embassy to Bill Gates, and internal correspondence between the Executive Director, James Moore, and the Chairman of the UK Advisory Board, Sir Geoffrey Leigh [1996-1997].
