The War Fund Fete at Government House Grounds, Madras 13 January 1941. The Fete was organised in aid of the Governor's War Fund - it was estimated that it was attended by over 25,000 people and raised over One Lakh of Rupees.
- War Fund Fete Programme & Guide;
- 6 press cuttings, primarily from the Madras Mail, 3-23 January 1941 publicising the fete and featuring photographs of it;
- Copy of a letter from Sir Arthur Hope, Governor of Madras to Captain Barnard, 16 January 1941 congratulating him on the wonderful success of the fete and on all his hard work organising it. This letter has been attached to a press cutting dated 15 January 1941.
