Notebook of pencil studies and drawings, chiefly of ecclesiastical architecture. The volume includes studies of Gloucester, Salisbury and Winchester cathedrals, drawings of Bath Abbey, Malvern Abbey, Stonehenge, Richmond Bridge, and Tonbridge Castle, some ecclesiastical monuments and inscriptions.
Inscribed on front paste-down: 'Charles Bacon. Great Ealing: Middlesex, or Exchequer, New Palace Yard, Westminster. This Book will be of no use to any Person except the owner he therefore most earnestly requests (as it is of great value to him) should any person find it they will be so obliging as to send it as directed. If required a reward of two Guineas will be paid for it.'
