5, pp. 47-58. Descriptions with reference to lettered plans of Perrnacoil, Karikal, Wuldour, Trenomaly, Carangoly, Chettupet, Verdachilum, Wandewash, Arcot, and Madura. The plans referred to in these descriptions are missing, but at the end of the description of Permacoil is a note, “Captain Leigh Engr John Call fecit," so it is possible that they are some of the plans made by John Call, Chief Engineer, most of which have disappeared.

6, pp. 71-225. Coromandel History. This gives the contents of Volumes 1-83 in the O. V. Series so far as they relate to Coromandel. It is important as indicating the contents of some of the lost volumes, and a possible reason for their loss, e.g., to Vol. 68 is the note : This book belongs to John Call," which would suggest that it was returned to Sir John Call or his family and, as Vol. 68 is not mentioned in Vol. 246, that it was probably returned before the latter was compiled by Orme. Both Call and Orme died in 1801.

7, pp. 331-339. Coromandel Geography. Contents of the Volumes of the O. V. Collection from 13 to 66 so far as they refer to Coromandel Geography.
