Covers the whole of Bechuanaland Protectorate except for the southern and westernmost tips.
The base map is I[ntelligence].D[ivision].,W[ar].O[ffice]. No. 846(b) Sheet II dated 1891 [a copy is filed at Maps MOD IDWO 846], and portrays hydrology, relief by hill shading, roads and tracks, settlements and place names, and includes topographical notes. Corrections by Mr. Percy C. Reid were added in manuscript north of the River Zambesi in 1898?; other manuscript corrections to the south of the Zambesi are unattributed. A small portion within the southern neatline was lost prior to transfer.
The sheet bears the note 'See Eq[uatorial].E[ast Africa]. Dist[rict]. 123 and 134'.
