Route map covering a road journey in southern Bechuanaland Protectorate from Molepolole 290 miles westwards to Mochap to a width of approximately 20 miles. Portrays hydrology, vegetation, roads, settlements and water sources, and includes topographical notes. Also contains listing and textual details of water sources.
The original map was signed by Captain H. Goold-Adams (British Bechuanaland Police), M.J. Brink and F.v.H. (Surveyor-General's Office, Cape Town) and W.N.[D?] (Intelligence Branch), 1887.
The sheet bears the note 'Enclosure in Despatch 147.G. 2.6.87.' and the reference 'B-142/34'.
Note: Some spellings on the map face differ from those in the War Office ledger.
