File of papers belonging Eila Campbell, Honorary Secretary of the Haylukt Society, relating to the project to publish a modern edition of the Journals of Captain Cook's Voyages. File relates to the publishing of the fourth volume, which appeared as The Life of Captain James Cook by J.C. Beaglehole (1974), published by A and C Black and in a separate edition for the Hakluyt Society.
Consists of extensive correspondence with J.D. Newth, Adam and Charles Black, regarding the publication of the volume as a separate edition for the Hakluyt Society.
