Various black and white photographs of William Cox-Ife: formal studio portraits, press photographs, and a number of informal small photographs from his youth, including unidentified friends. Photographs of Joan Vivian Rees (Cox-Ife's future wife) are included [c. 1920].
Also included, two magazine cuttings of theatre reviews [1914 and 1919] featuring photographs of Joan Vivian Rees who performed on the stage. Together with a page from the London Mail (13 Sep 1919) showing cartoon drawings of 'The Follies at the Strand Theatre' and a black and white photograph of Joan Vivian Rees: the cartoon figure in the centre of the page is drawn wearing a distinctive costume that matches her costume in the photograph.
