Two printed map sheets, G.S.G.S. 2988(a) and (b) titled 'Southern Portion' and 'Northern Portion' respectively. Sheets are 1925 editions of 1922 original surveyed by Capt A.G. Stigand between 1910 and 1922. Names corrections have been added in manuscript by Lieut C.K. Moseley, British Bechuanaland Police in 1931. Covers part of north-west Bechuanaland Protectorate and extends into the Caprivi Strip in German South West Africa. Portrays hydrology and land subject to inundation, relief by spot heights, form lines, hachures and rock drawing, vegetation, roads and tracks, traverse routes, settlements and isolated buildings, place names and corrections thereto, water sources, international boundaries and the limits of tsetse fly. Also includes topographical notes, compilation notes and tables of road distances.
