Autograph letters to Bridget D'Oyly Carte (mostly 1970s) from Mrs Simone Boulter (relative) who died in 1983 in a nursing home in France. The file includes some correspondence with others, including Bridget D'Oyly Carte's solicitor, and John Calabrini, Simone Boulter's nephew.
The earliest item in the file is a receipt to Mrs Boulter (Savoy Hotel, Room 660) from Selfridge & Co Ltd, Oxford Street, for a mink coat (£350, November 1930). The earliest letter from Boulter is dated 10 Dec 1947; the latest correspondence concerns Mrs Boulter's luggage, left in storage at the Savoy Hotel many years previously.
