1. Account of Byng’s Action in the Meditteranean, condemming the conduct of the Admiral. Sir Edward Hawke sent out to supersede him; and Lord Tyrawley to supersede Gen[eral] Fowke. The siege of St Phillip’s expected to hold out. The Duke of Cumberland’s plan of defence “It is determined to make some severe examples”. Cavendish Square, 24th June, 1756. Folio 1.
