1. From Colonel Grœme to Mr Mitchell. Declaration of the King relative to his marriage, Lord Harcourt is appointed Ambassador, to make the formal demand of the Princess, and conduct her to England. Route the Princess will take. Strelitz, 17th July, 1761. Folio 1.
2. Copy of the King’s Declaration. Folio 3.
3. To the same. Particulars relative to the journey of the Princess. Stelitz, 11th August, 1761. Folio 5.
4. To the same. Forwarding an inclosure from the Queen to Madame Cocceÿ. London, 29th July, 1763. Folio 7.
5. To the same. Willingness to shew any civilities to Mons[ieur] Formey should be presented in her name with 100 Louis d’ar, for a book offered to her Majesty. London, 7th October, 1763. Folio 9.
6. From Mr Oswald to the same. Notices from Correspondents, of the probability of another Campaign, and of the ruined state of the finances of France. Mr Oswald has obtained the contract for artillery houses, and the train is to be large. Leipsig, 7th February, 1760. Folio 17.
7. To the same. Details relative to himself, and Colonel Grœme, relative to the Contracts for the Army they are employed in. Hexter on the Weser, 4th February, 1761. Folio 19.
8. To the same. Application to Mr M[itchell] in favor of Ern. Chr. Schoenian, who wishes for the post of “Grig’s Commissary”. Hexter, 5th June, 1761. Folio 21.
9. (Inclosure). Letter from Mr Schönium to Mr Oswald. His wish to obtain the post of Commissary of war. (In German and English). Folio 23.
10. From Mr Oswald to Mr Mitchell. Congratulations on the capture of Belleisle. State of the English Army under Lord Granby, and civil branch. General intelligence of affairs in England. Application in favor of some person not named. Harvorden, 27th June, 1761. Folio 26.
11. From Mr Dayrolle to the same. Inclosing a letter from the Duchess of Aremberg. Count Colloredo has left London without taking leave. Mr D[ayrolle] expects to be ordered away. Brussels, 17th July, 1757. Folio 28.
12. To the same. Miraculous success of the King of Prussia. A hint given to Mr M[itchell] to write to the D[uke]. of Newcastle. Aquittal of General Mordaunt[?] London, 27th December, 1757. Folio 30.
13. To the same. Mr and Mrs D[ayrolle]. accept the offer of Mr Mitchell to be God-Father to their next child. Domestic intelligence. Preparations for another expedition. Death of Lady Coventry. London 14th October, 1760. Folio 32.
14. To the same. Birth of Daughter etc. Satisfaction given by the King to his subjects. Report of the death of the Duke of Aremberg. The Duke of A__ [Argyle?] is not to be the great Ruler he was in the last reign. London, 12th December, 1760. Folio 34.
15. To the same. Further details of his child’s christening etc. Nothing is yet determined with regard to the Public Offices. The Privy Council in Ireland have refused to send over a Money Bill for the approbation of the Council in England. London, 13th January, 1761. Folio 37.
16. From Mrs Dayrolle to the same. Inclosing a letter from the Duchess of Newberg. London, 3rd February, 1760. Folio 39.
17. To the same to the same. Promising Mr M[itchell]. He shall stand Godfather to her next child. Henly-Park, 13th August, [1760]. Folio 41.
