Vol XXXVIII. Doctor Murdoch’s Letter Book, when he was left at Berlin by Mr Mitchell, when he went to the army in Saxony October, 1756.
1. From Dr Murdoch to James Wallace Esquire. Departure of Mr Mitchell for Dresden, and orders given to Dr M[itchell] to correspond with Mr Wallace, and Mr Munchhausen. The King of Prussia remains quiet in his camp at Lobositz, and General Brown in his, beyond the Egra. The Saxon army much diminished by desertion and famine. Berlin, 12th October, 1756. Folio 2.
