1. (Prop. Man.) Mr. Mitchell is requested to deliver to the bearer some wine, purchased conjointly with the Prince. The trenches are to be opened immediately before Schweidnitz. Information is desired as to the object of Mr. Mitchell’s journey. Dated Ditmansdorf(?), 7 August 1762. (folio 1)
2. (P.M.) The Prince is astonished at the coldness of the reply given to Mr. Mitchell [from the King of Prussia]. The return of a courier from St. Petersburg is expected with information as to the declaration of M. Goltz. Progress of the siege of Schweidnitz. Position of the King of Prussia [Frederick II, alias Frederick the Great] and the Prince of Bevern [Augustus William]. Force of the enemy and projects. Movement of the Austrians. 8. Still on the subject of the evacuation of Saxony, proposed by Russia to Austria and Prussia. Information is requested from Mr. Mitchell as to the sentiments of his court in this affair. The siege is in the same state, and the King of Prussia completely occupied by it. Count Solms is gone to St. Petersburg to replace M. Goltz. Dated Petersvaldau, 22 September/3 October 1762. 13. (P.M.) Report of the arrival of Prince Ferdinand of Brunswick at Magdeburg. Generals Freitag and Lukner are said to have entered the Prussian service. The first division of English troops have marched on their return home. Dated Leipzig, 30 December 1762. (folio 34)
14. Communication under the seal of secrecy, of the negotiation entered into at Hubertusburg, between the courts of Vienna, Dresden, and Berlin. Dated Leipzig, 22 December 1762/2 January 1763. (folio 38)

20. (P.M.) The confirmation of the articles has arrived from Vienna, and the treaty will be signed immediately. Everything remains on the same footing as before the war, and no indemnification on either side. Dated Leipzig, 3 February 1763. (folio 51)
