1. Letter from the Marquis d’Angelelli to Mr. Mitchell. The Marquis wishes the King of Prussia [Frederick II, alias Frederick the Great]’s permission to remove from the ‘Francs Batallions’, and serve in the regular infantry. Mr. Mitchell’s advice is requested as to the step of leaving the army. Dated Blasdorff near Landshut, 26 December 1759. (folio 1)
2. Letter from the Marquis d’Angelelli to Mr. Mitchell. Recommending his quartermaster, M. de Hoffman, who is desirous of entering the English or Hanoverian service. Dated Berlin, 12 June 1760. (folio 4)
