1. Group portrait photograph taken on the veranda of the Guest House. Annotated on verso: 'Standing: R J Macnabb (CIH Personal Assistant to AGG), Miss Huddlestone (Lucy Daly's governor), Captain Barr, CIH, Lala Durga Sahai (Supt Narsinghar State), Thakur Lachman Singh (Guardian to HH the Raja of Narsinghar), Kanwar Ram Singh (HH's footman), Captain Kan, 56th Panjabis, The Diwan (Chief Minister) to the Raja of Sailana, HH the Rana of Barwani, Major Smith IMS (Agency Surgeon, Bhopal), J H Cox, ICS (Excise Commissioner in Central India, CL [Courtenay Latimer] and two Rajputana guests of the Raja. Sitting: Lucy Daly, Mrs Cox, Mr Bayley, Major Bayley, Mrs Daly, HH the Raja of Narsinghar, Col Daly (with a child of the Sailana Raja on his lap), Mrs Keen with her baby girl, the Raja of Sailana, with one of his sons on his lap, a Rajputana guest.'
2. Photograph of an investiture ceremony, possibly Indore, 1909. Annotated on verso: 'In the palace courtyard. The Investiture took place in the big tent (Shamiana) which you see on the left. Col Daly & CL [Courtenay Latimer] on the elephant. Escort of Central India Horse. See the incongruous Conjunction of elephant & motor cars. Note by CRL? Indore, 1909.'
3. 'A State Elephant under the walls of the palace'. The elephant has a rider, and is being led down the hill from the palace by two attendants.
4. 'View of the lake with the Raja's palace on the top of the hill.'
