The first of Bradshaw's four scrapbooks containing a variety of mementos from her musical career, including: Bradshaw's Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examination result forms for her piano grades VI-VIII; an early composition of Bradshaw's, published in The Young Musician; concert programmes (a mixture of cuttings and whole programmes) and bills; a small amount of correspondence, including letters from Lennox Berkeley and Pierre Boulez; and newspaper cuttings. These varied cuttings cover a range of items such as performance reviews, a review of Bradshaw's Eight Hungarian Melodies (1953), and items relating to her broadcasting activities with the Third Programme (including the hoax broadcast played by Bradshaw and Hans Keller). There are also a small number of non-press cuttings which relate to awards/prizes won by Bradshaw.

For these reasons and due to the weight of bulky items attached to some scrapbook pages, careful handling is required. Special care is needed both when turning pages of the scrapbook and of programmes/other items attached to the scrapbook pages, especially those with inserts. Extra care should be taken when accessing overlapping/overlapped items, to avoid damage or creasing on replacement/page turning.
