Upper fragment (P.Dryton 21, P.Lond. III 889a, TM 288): A self-written receipt (cheirographon) of Zois alias Onchasis, who acknowledges having received 12 talents of copper from the priest Patous on behalf of Esthladas, son of Dryton. The receipt was written by a representative and issued in the Greek notary’s office. The summary in Demotic is on the back. Dated after 140 BC.
Lower fragment (P.Lond. III 889b descr., TM 639): Fragment of a document listing wheat, barley, etc. Unpublished.

Two papyrus fragments that do not belong together, housed in one glass case.
The upper fragment (A) is the top portion of a sheet, broken off at the bottom and written on both sides: the text on the recto is Greek and runs across the fibres, whereas the verso has a one-line docket in Demotic running along the fibres. On the verso, several fibres are missing.
The lower fragment (B) is the lower part of a sheet, written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank.
