(1). Photographs of members of the Prowse family. Eight small studio portraits, identified by annotations on the versos as: 'Mr Prowse (Rupert's grandfather on mother's side)'; 'Mrs Bryan Jones (daughter of Mr Prowse)'; 'sister of Mr Prowse'; 'W. Bryan Jones'; 'Mr Woods'; 'Mrs Woods (daughter of W. Prowse)'; 'Gwendoline Prowse Jones'; and a portrait of a young boy ('presumably Bancroft').
(2). 'E[liza] Mackmurdo' (née Carte); and two photographs of 'Geoffrey' [Carte] as a young boy (1890).
(3). Rupert D'Oyly Carte in Royal Navy uniform; two identical photographs of Aller Cottage, Hampstead, Rupert D'Oyly Carte's birthplace (photographer, W. G. Mill); two similar photographs of Rupert and Lucas D'Oyly Carte as young children with Mary Tilson; and Miss Willis ('Rupert's governess').
(4). Bridget D'Oyly Carte: aged 6 months (circular shaped photograph); as a young baby with her mother, Lady Dorothy; as a young girl; and four identical portraits (mid-20th century).
