Four typed drafts ('Notes Made by a Cousin for a Life of Richard D'Oyly Carte) and two autograph drafts ('Notes for a Life of Richard D'Oyly Carte'). Includes notes in the hand of Bridget D'Oyly Carte on the verso of one sheet of autograph text.
This would appear to be preliminary notes made by Elinor Pugh (cousin to Bridget D'Oyly Carte). The author of the notes is not indicated, but the hand matches that of Elinor Pugh in her autograph letter (24 Feb 1958) to Bridget D'Oyly Carte in MS Mus. 1844/3/10.
