1, 1-356. Orme's notes on various subjects. Partly in his own handwriting. Chiefly notes on books which he has purchased, and short extracts. Pages 32-52 contain a geographical description of "Indostan" and pages 79-157 a digest of the Annals of the Canary Islands (published in 1764 by George Glass, see p. 155), which he finished 15th Oct 1772. Pages 158-159 contain a letter (dated 23 June 1773) to the Historian, Dr. William Robertson, showing his acquaintance with that writer (see 202. 169 below). Pages 352 to 356 are an Index to Vol. XI. of the Dutch Voyages.
