This covers the years 1736 to 1758, shows the kind of reading in which Orme indulged and, as Orme gives the dates, places, and circumstances of his reading, this paper also provides data for his biography. The latter are not always in accordance with the Life of Orme prefixed to the 1805 Edition of Orme's Historical Fragments of the Mogul Empire.
