A portfolio of printed sketches by Christian Wilhelm Allers, drawn 'behind the scenes' at performances of The Mikado in Hamburg. The sketches are tipped-in on loose cards. Published in a portfolio format by F. S. Dahlström, Hamburg. Date of publication not indicated, but each sketch has been signed and individually dated (within the print) as having been drawn in the latter half of January 1888.
The portfolio comprises 24 plates on 22 cards (numbered as found):
