Seven-part map depicting the 450-mile route along the River Ganges in northern India from Hurdwar south-eastwards to Allahabad. Portrays hydrology, sands, vegetation and cultivation, settlements, some individual buildings, ghauts and place names. Detail is limited to within approximately 2 miles of the river. The India Office map catalogue lists the following sheets:
