The short Mandinka Ajami manuscript is a devotional poem that celebrates Prophet Muḥammad, his companions, and the Abrahamic prophets. It also tells the fall from grace of Iblīs (Satan). The author was inspired by the work of the famous Mandinka scholar called Alpha Diadji.
