(1). Typed letters (1976-78) from Clayton Eshleman, in Los Angeles, to Peter Hodgkiss. The letters convey, in a direct tone of voice, precise instructions concerning text, design, paper and binding. Many of the letters contain Eshleman's additional autograph comments and instructions.

(3). Photocopy of the original magazine publication of 'On Mules Sent from Chavin' in the magazine some/thing, nos. 3/4 (New York, 1968), pp. 42-71. The magazine was edited by Eshleman and Jerome Rothenberg. Text corresponds to (revised) pp. 25-59 of the Galloping Dog Press publication.
(4). Eshleman's complete typescript for the Galloping Dog Press book, including his autograph annotations. Comprising: title-page, copyright page, and pages numbered 1-61 (in pencil, top right corner).
