Upper papyrus (A), (P.Lond. III 922a, TM 11815): Receipt acknowledging that Sotas has paid the customs-dues on four donkeys passing the gate of Soknopaiou Nesos. Three of the donkeys carry corn and one vegetables. Dated to 1 July 211.
Lower papyrus (B), (SB XVIII 14058, P.Lond. III 922b descr., TM 27720): Names of two collectors of grain taxes in Soknopaiou Nesos: Sotas alias Sempronius, son of Tryphon, and Horus, son of Apynchis. Second or third century.

Two papyrus sheets that do not belong together, mounted on cardboard in the same glass case.
Upper papyrus (A): Small papyrus sheet, darkened in its right half, complete; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 6 lines, complete, which occupy slightly more than half of the sheet; all margins are minimal with the exception of the lower.
Lower papyrus (B): Light-brown papyrus sheet, complete but with surface damage in the left half; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 5 complete lines, abraded at the beginning; all margins are extant.
