Fragment of a papyrus sheet, broken off at the left and bottom; written on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are portions of 31 lines, the last of which are rather mutilated. Upper and right margins are extant. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 217 x 112 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 270 x 165 mm.
Script: Upright hand with some ligatures and more cursive sequences of letters; somewhat irregular in size; exhibiting serifs at the end of some uprights. Lines are not fairly spaced; one line is inserted.

Provenance: Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 884-1178 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 8 June 1901.
