Two receipts for different people, dated to different years.
Lines 1-3: Receipt acknowledging the payment of 16 drachmas made by Aurelius Chigas. Dated to 26 March 228.
Line 4-end: Tax receipt acknowledging the payment of 3 drachmas and 2 obols made by Theognostus alias Morus through the tax collector Aurelius Polydeuces on account of the annona. Dated to 10 February 233.

Papyrus sheet, complete and very well preserved, with only one small hole to the right; writing runs on one side along the fibres, the back being blank. There are 9 lines, complete; the first 3 are broader. Between lines 3 and 4 there is little blank space. The text occupies less than the left-hand half of the sheet; all margins are extant, with the blank space to the right measuring 95 mm. A sheet-join runs across the fibres and along the height of the sheet in its middle. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Script: Lines 1-3: Small cursive hand, with some detached letters. Line 4-end: Cursive hand of bigger size, somewhat rougher, overall upright.
