Census declaration addressed to the scribes (grammateis) of Hermopolis. The declarant is Aurelius Theognostus alias Morus, son of Hermaeus alias Pathotes, who registers himself and his sister Aurelia Dioscorous, aged 44. With oath and subscriptions of Aurelius Theognostus and of Aurelius Apollonius and Aurelius Ammonion, who have the copies of the return.

Papyrus sheet, damaged by holes of big size regularly distributed in the upper half, which affect the text; smaller holes are to be found in the lower half, which shows minor abrasion as well. The text runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. There are 23 lines, the last of which contains the motif of the crosses as a filler; many lines are mutilated. Left, upper and lower margins are extant, with the lower measuring 55 mm; the right margin is damaged. The papyrus is mounted on cardboard in a glass case.

Dimensions: 242 x 149 mm; housed in a glass case measuring 295 x 205 mm.
Script: Thin cursive hand for the body of the document; 3 hands for the subscriptions: lines 19-21: thick and rough, in darker ink; lines 21-24: small cursive hand; end of line 24: another small cursive hand, somewhat irregular in size.
