Proof of currency note is black, yellow, orange, green and brown. There is no security thread present. A watermark depicting Christopher Columbus is present. Three signatures are present on the front of the proof currency note, these are of the Commissioner of Currency (George Vincent Emile Higgs), the Receiver General (Herbert Rowland Latreille) and the Commissioner of Currency (Basil Burnside). "CANCELLED" is perforated onto the bottom half of the currency note. "No change" is annotated on the top centre of the currency note.
