(1). Two letters from Phil Maillard (and Val Torrance) to Peter Hodgkiss:
- 6 Jan 1980. Typed letter, enclosing 'Final MS copy' (see below). Refers to cover photograph. Also enclosing (not present in this file) Val Torrance's illustrations for Chris Torrance, The Diary of Palug's Cat (1980).
- 'Wednesday' [1980?]. Autograph letter. Refers to 'this proposed Robert King pamphlet of mine'.
(2). Autograph etter from Geoff [Jackson], 17 Mar [1979], to Phil Maillard and Val Torrance, letter and contents sent to Hodgkiss. Geoff Jackson took the photograph used for the front cover to Portraits. Together with the letter are two black and white prints (155 x 165 mm) of the image, one a vertical print, the other horizontal. Also, an annotated and unused postcard of two Celtic heads.
(3). First typed (carbon) manuscript, 'completed 20 Dec '78'.
(4). 'Final MS copy'. Typescript, dated 6 Jan 1980.
