(1). Letters from Gavin Selerie to Peter Hodgkiss:
- 16 Jun 1985. Autograph letter. 'Alan Halsey suggested that I send you the text of Strip Signals for possible publication in your quick job series' (for text, see item 2 below). The letter is accompanied by the poem 'about Hawksmoor's Mausoleums which I mentioned to you before': 'Of Mausolus' (2 sheets, poem annotated by Selerie as 'rejected from Azimuth sequence').
- 12 Jan 1986. Typed letter: 'As for the printing, I still have to sound out Bob Cobbing about the use of his photocopier.' The autograph postscript to the letter refers to enclosing Selerie's 'review of Ranter' (Barry MacSweeney, 1985) but this is not present in the file.
- 12 Feb 1986. Typed letter. Cobbing 'says he can do the print run for Strip Signals on the New River machine'.
- 28 Apr 1986. Autograph letter (2 sheets).
(2). Gavin Selerie, 'Strip Signals'. Bound photocopy pages, yellow covers, for private circulation (annotated 'No. 5'). 'Written February/March 1985 for performance at the London Musicians Collective, 16th March. For Violin, Percussion, and Two Voices with Chorus. Main Voices: Gavin Selerie, Petra Göltz-Cofhãni; Violin: Sue Ferrar. Chorus: Bob Cobbing, Gilbert Adair.' Incoporates three photographs of the work in performance.
