(1). Six autograph letters (1980-81) from Colin Simms to Peter Hodgkiss. Only three of the letters are dated, one of which (22 Nov 1980) encloses Simms, Missouri River Songs '75 - '77 (Genera, 1980).
(2). Typed manuscript, corrected. 28 sheets, originally numbered 1-22 and 24-29. See Simms's letter to Hodgkiss (6 Aug 1981): 'Can we make it a 28 page (of text) work by leaving out 23 altogether? I've isolated it in the manuscript but not yet in the proof!' The 'isolated' p. 23 is not present in the file. The 28pp. manuscript corresponds to the published 28pp. text.
(3). Front cover designs, including the variant title 'The Bones in a River Course'.
(4). Publication. Coilin Simms, A Celebration of the Stones in a Water-Course. Galloping Dog Press: Newcastle upon Tyne, 1981. Signed and numbered 3/10.

- 'Prose Piece for Peter'. Autograph (1 sheet), beginning: 'What man's development of his place has been'.
- 'EP prose: I have not thought of offering these notes, they don't say a great deal, to the Bunting and Pound celebrations happily noised lately. (Venice 1972).' Two typed copies of the text, one of which is annotated: 'Dear Peter, Eric [Mottram] has seen this and suggested I make a poem of it: it's near (a bit) my 3rd BB long poem anyway.'
- 'Consider Consett Let Down'. Photocopied autograph text, 'issued on behalf of Campaign for the North' (Genera, 1980).
- 'The Poetry I Want' (photocopy typescript, title-page and 9 numbered sheets). 1st draft, 27/28 Dec 1979.
- 'Rowan, for PH' (1 sheet, phoptocopy typescript).
- 'Five Cheviot Lyrics' (3 sheets, photocopied from printed source, pp. 31-33 incorporating landscape photographs).
- 'A Day in the Life B.S.' (3 sheets). B.S. Club Newsletter (Nov 1979).
- 'Harley Davidson XL 1000: A 5,000-mile report'. Photocopied from Motorcycle Sport (May 1976), pp. 210-13 and 230. The article is initialled C.S.
