Lower part of a contract for the lease of some aruras of land located in Thynis, the lessees being two farmers of this village, Aurelius Phoebammon and Aurelius Abramus. Written by Aurelius Philemon, son of Victor, on behalf of the lessees as they are illiterate; with subscriptions of two witnesses, and notarial subscription. The notary is Theodosius. The docket is on the back

Lower part of a papyrus sheet with minor abrasion; written along the fibres on both sides, the back bearing a two-line docket. On the front there is the foot of a column, of which 11 lines survive. The lower margin is extant, the side margins are minimal. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Script: Large, sloping cursive hand; lines 8-9: Rough and somewhat irregular sloping cursive hand; lines 9-10: Uneven, upright cursive hand; line 11: Upright cursive hand of fair size with flourishes.
