Fragmentary contract for the lease of six aruras of land, the lessor being Lucius Fabius Diogenes and the lessee Diodorus. Provisions are made as to the duties of each party, including the payment of taxes and works to be performed. Additionally, the tenant is to cultivate two aruras of land belonging to the owner. With subscription of Diogenes and dating clause at the end.

Two joining fragments from the lower portion of a papyrus sheet, darkened and abraded in places. Writing runs along the fibres on one side, the back being blank. 19 lines from the foot of a column survive; the right margin is minimal, the lower margin is extant (30 mm), and left and upper margins are lost. The papyrus is housed in a glass frame.

Dimensions: Left fragments: 153 x 57 mm; Right fragment: 169 x 164 mm. Housed in a glass frame measuring 220 x 270 mm.
Script: Upright, skilled and neat cursive hand, regular and with some enlarged letters at the beginnings of the lines; 2nd hand from line 13 for the subscription.
